In accordance with its tendencies to give to its consumers quality and healthy products and good service, to provide good working conditions for its employees, to influence positively its natural and social environment, "Knjaz Milos" company integrated two new systems OHSAS 18001 and SRPS ISO 14001:2005 into the already existing Quality Management System SRPS ISO 9001:2001.
Ohsas 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assesment Series) is the system of management of health protection and safety of work. By manging health protection and safety at work we make sure that all dangers and damages for the health of workers are eliminated or at least put down to the smallest possibility. Some precautions are being taken - from the adequate working conditions to the usage of means for personal and collective protection. The workers are responsible for the implementation of the protection precautions and they can actively take part in giving proposals for their improvement.
SRPS ISO 14001:2005 is the system of environment protection management. "Knjaz Milos" has a responsible approach to environment and it works on solving the problems that appear in this field which is possible to accomplish only with contribution of each employee. By respecting the legal acts and determining the important aspects and influences on the environment, by developing the system for control and managenet, we can reduce the negative impact on the environment.
The management representative for the integrated management system is Zorica Vukcevic-Kljajic, COO of "Knjaz Milos".
During the certification for OHSAS 18001 and SPRS ISO 14001:2005, the recertification of ISO 9001 was also done.
